Katie's poem

I saw the moon cry

I watched the sun set

Stars fell from the sky

And haven’t returned yet

The trees are bare

All the leaves fall

The ground doesn’t care

Doesn’t notice at all

No birds sing today

The winds just sigh

The air just lays

Time seems to fly

As Robert Frost once said

Nothing golden can stay

With crying eyes red

A loved one goes away

A tear slides down everyday

For every nostalgic thought

With a smile not a frown

For someone missed a lot
